Dr. Sandhya Pal
Dr. Sandhya Pal is a third generation dentist who has been practicing for over 20 years. She earned her B.S. in Biology with a double minor in Spanish and Industrial Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a D.D.S. from Howard University School of Dentistry with honors in Oral Diagnosis and Radiology.
Dr. Pal’s skills span all aspects of General Dentistry and is also certified in Implant surgery, Sedation Dentistry, and Therapeutic Botox. She feels that the best part of dentistry is caring for her patients as if they were her family. She also feels that dentistry is an art, as well as a science, and brings a good eye and steady hand to build lasting smiles.
Dr. Pal’s greatest accomplishments as a small business owner was putting together a fabulous team that shares her same passion about patient centered care with a kind and friendly approach.
Dr. Pal is a member of the Northern Virginia Dental Society, Virginia Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.
While not practicing dentistry, Dr. Pal enjoys her family time with her husband, Dr. Devin Jopp, three children, a dog and two cats.

Practice Director
Jan has been the Office Manager of Pal Family Dentistry for over 10 years and now serves as Practice Director overseeing all operations. She is a Northern Virginia native and George Mason University graduate. Jan has been working in the dental field for over 20 years. Jan enjoys working with patients, is thorough in her management of insurance claims, scheduling appointments and is the backbone of all our day to day operations.

Martha
Dental Assistant
Martha fell in love with dentistry and has been working as a dental assistant in Virginia since 2004. She was born and raised in Bolivia and immigrated to the US in 1992. She lives in Sterling with her family and she enjoys spending time with her six nieces and nephews. Martha also enjoys Ballroom and Latin dance, as well as running and hiking. Family and friends are especially important to her!
Jessica
Registered Dental Hygenist
Jessica has been a licensed dental hygienist since 2005 when she graduated from Forsyth Dental Hygiene School in Boston, MA. After graduation, she moved to the Northern Virginia area and started her professional career with Dr. Pal for many, many years way back then!
Jessica has years of experience working with all ages and has a gentle and effective touch for everyone. She loves spending extra time with her patients to be sure they feel educated and fully understand all aspects of their oral health care needs and treatments. She is meticulous with her work, always holds herself to the highest standards of care and she truly appreciates working with patients who also place a high value on their own oral health.
When she is not working in the dental office, Jessica does a lot of real estate investing and uses that to help some of the underserved community become homeowners.
Jessica and her husband have two children and they all love to travel.
Cera
Registered Dental Hygenist
Cera is new to the DMV area, coming all the way from Pensacola, Florida! Graduating from Pensacola state college, having close relationships with her classmates and instructors, and being detail-oriented drove her passion for dental and improving smiles. A really important goal of Cera’s is to make patients feel comfortable and have a positive experience. As a proud member of the ADHA, you can catch her attending dental hygiene events and continuing education courses. When not in the office Cera enjoys trying new foods, spoiling her two cats, and building anything from Lego to furniture.Christina

Christina has been licensed hygienist since 2007. Christina was born and raised in West Michigan, but she has lived in the DMV area for the past 12 years. It is a priority for Christina that each and every patient experience is better than their last one – she loves being able to make anxious patients feel at ease and comfortable for every visit! Christina is honored to be a part of a dental team that is dedicated to its patients and makes everyone feel like family. She is married and has two beautiful daughters. Her hobbies include playing golf, tea parties with her daughters, camping, hiking and finding new restaurants to try.
